“Seoul Winter Festa 2023” to Be Held to Welcome New Year, Placing Seoul Next to New York and Sydney for New Year’s Celebrations

• Seven central parts of Seoul will be decorated with light displays from December 15, 2023, to January 21, 2024, to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
• On December 15, 2023, the Seoul Winter Festa 2023 kicks off by turning on the light of the media façade running along the Gwanghwamun area, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and Songhyun Square.
• On the last day of 2023 (Sunday), countdown and bell-ringing ceremonies will be held at midnight in Bosingak Pavilion, on Sejong-daero Avenue. The ceremonies at the Pavilion will be streamed live at the Gwanghwamun and Dongdaemun Digital Plaza (DDP).
• The Seoul Winter Festa will be jointly held with “2023 SeoulCon”, a fashion and beauty festival, inviting global influencers to enjoy the New Year’s celebrations with their 3 billion subscribers and viewers around the world.
